Vucic: Trump-Putin Diesel Deal to Reshape Global Balance

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated that an agreement between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump concerning Russian diesel fuel supply will strategically alter the global balance, highlighting the lifting of sanctions against Moscow as the true significance.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has asserted that an agreement between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump on the supply of diesel fuel from Russia will strategically change the global balance. Vucic emphasized that the actual importance of this deal lies in the cessation of restrictive sanctions against Moscow. “The Trump and Putin agreement changes many issues in the world and creates strategic transformation. This is not because of diesel fuel… The important point is that the Americans, with this action, have stopped the chain of sanctions against the Russian Federation, and Trump has shown that he is a pragmatic and realistic person,” Vucic stated. The Serbian politician added that the U.S. President, with this decision, has indicated his desire to reduce diesel fuel prices in the country. Previously, Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the Russian President, had sarcastically commented that Putin and Trump might have communicated through a confidential line without informing public opinion afterward.
