Trump Expresses Anger Over Ukraine’s Attacks on Russian Oil Refineries, Axios Reports

Axios has reported that U.S. President Donald Trump is intensely angry with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, demanding Kyiv cease attacks on Russian oil refineries. Trump reportedly feels Zelensky does not sufficiently appreciate Washington’s support.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Axios reported that U.S. President Donald Trump is angry with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, and expects Kyiv to end its attacks on Russian oil refineries.

The report cited a White House source stating, “Trump is intensely angry. The U.S. President believes Zelensky does not sufficiently appreciate Washington’s support. Ukraine’s attacks on oil refineries are harming Trump’s relationship with Zelensky more than they are damaging Russia.”

The publication Bild also reported recently that advisors to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky were shocked to hear comments from U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the necessity of electing a new president for Ukraine.

Trump’s recent remarks about Zelensky needing to step down have drawn the attention of analysts to the possibility that Ukraine entered the war with Russia based on Western promises of NATO membership, and that after years of conflict and devastation, the United States now views the Ukrainian president as a spent force.

The Wall Street Journal, in a report, stated that the relationship between U.S. President Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky is at its lowest point since their verbal altercation at the White House in February of last year.
