Hamas Urges Palestinians to Resist Settler Attacks Amid Olive Harvest

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hamas leader Abdulrahman Shadid has urged a broad mobilization of Palestinians across cities, villages, and camps in the West Bank to confront a surge in attacks by Israeli settlers targeting Palestinians and their property. The calls come as settlers’ assaults have reportedly intensified significantly with the commencement of the olive harvest season in the West Bank. These actions are described as part of a wider campaign of ethnic cleansing by the occupying forces against the Palestinian people, their land, and their holy sites. Shadid emphasized that the proliferation of these attacks necessitates a comprehensive response and resistance. He appealed for support for Palestinian farmers who are facing a dangerous wave of harassment and assaults from settlers, allegedly under the protection of the occupying Israeli forces. Furthermore, he advocated for intensifying resistance activities through all available means to deter settlers from continuing their attacks, asserting that the Palestinian people will not yield to these escalating aggressions. They will remain committed to their land and holy sites, defending them with all their might.
