Yemen Claims Downing Saudi Reconnaissance Drone

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a Saudi “Kariyal” type armed reconnaissance drone was shot down in the skies over Hajjah province by Yemen‘s armed forces. Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces, announced the successful operation.

Saree stated that this is the fourth drone of this specific model to be downed since the recent escalation of tensions, and the seventh drone of this type to be intercepted since they began operating over Yemen.

This incident follows another claim from Saturday night, when the spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces reported the downing of a Saudi Apache helicopter in the border region of Najran with Yemen.
