Moscow Airports Temporarily Suspend Operations Amidst Security Concerns

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency announced on Thursday that operations at four Moscow airports have been temporarily suspended as a preemptive measure following increased concerns about potential Ukrainian attacks.
The airspace over Moscow, Russia’s capital, was closed, and an air raid alert was declared at Sheremetyevo Airport. The management of Sheremetyevo Airport advised passengers to proceed to the nearest safe areas or seek shelter.
The Mayor of Moscow stated that eight Ukrainian drones heading towards the capital were shot down.
The Russian Ministry of Defense also reported that a prisoner exchange of military personnel with Ukraine was carried out, involving 270 individuals from each side.
