Ukraine Launches Unprecedented Drone Assault on Russia Ahead of Elections

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, over 1,600 drones were intercepted across Russia’s defensive lines, with 450 downed in the vicinity of Moscow, as announced by the city’s mayor. The mayor further stated that more than 250 drones were shot down during continuous attacks throughout the night. These unprecedented drone operations, which aimed to disrupt the Russian elections, ultimately proved unsuccessful.

The Russian official also noted that Ukrainian drones targeted a fuel refinery located near Moscow. The Moscow Air Traffic Control Office announced that over 30 flights were unable to land at Moscow’s airports due to security concerns.

In a related development, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian forces conducted extensive strikes against facilities associated with Kyiv that were being utilized for military purposes.
