Paris Metro Stations Closed Amidst Widespread Protests

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, in response to widespread unrest and protests, over 40 metro stations in Paris have been taken out of service today, Saturday. The Paris transport company announced the closures, citing the need to manage public safety amid anticipated demonstrations.
The French news agency, quoting the RATP (Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens), the public transport authority for the metropolis, reported that the decision to close these routes was made based on prior predictions of protest gatherings. These restrictive measures are being implemented at the official request of the police department as part of security and protection protocols.
The majority of the affected stations are located in the central areas of the French capital. Some of these metro stations have already had their doors closed, with the cessation of services continuing in other designated locations throughout the day. This round of public protests in France is now in its third consecutive Saturday. The government has prohibited any gatherings in the city center, redirecting planned demonstrations to suburban areas.
