NATO Chief Rules Out Military Victory in Ukraine as Trump Administration Pushes for Peace Deal

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has asserted that there is no foreseeable prospect of a military victory for either party involved in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
Emphasizing the necessity of bringing the crisis to a close, the senior official of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization noted that such disputes are invariably resolved through peace agreements, typically based on mutual concessions and compromise.
This stance by the NATO chief comes concurrently with the initiation of a new phase of diplomatic initiatives by U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration aimed at resolving the war in Ukraine.
In this regard, Jared Kushner, serving as the U.S. President’s special envoy and son-in-law, announced that serious and constructive talks have taken place among the United States, Ukraine, NATO, and European partners in Brussels.
According to the American official, the primary focus of this meeting centered on discussions regarding security guarantees for Ukraine and the establishment of a more comprehensive security architecture across the European continent.
He also announced Washington’s plans to host trilateral negotiations between representatives of the United States, Ukraine, and Russia in Abu Dhabi in the coming week.
Meanwhile, in statements over the past several hours, U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that achieving a major agreement extending beyond Ukraine’s borders is currently on the agenda.
He further noted, “I could even say that this agreement might involve all of Europe, and it will be a big and beautiful deal.”
