Russian Air Defense Intercepts and Destroys Hundreds of Ukrainian Drones

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian air defense systems successfully intercepted and neutralized a massive wave of 411 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles operating over multiple regions of the country, the Crimean Peninsula, and the waters of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov between the nights of November 6 and 7, 2026.
Based on official military statements, the targeted drones were shot down in the skies above several Russian administrative regions, including Bryansk, Belgorod, Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Rostov, Saratov, Samara, and Tula. Interceptions were also recorded over the Crimean Peninsula as well as the strategic maritime zones of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.
Defense authorities in Moscow have not yet released a detailed breakdown regarding the exact distribution of downed aircraft per region, nor have they provided immediate assessments concerning potential material damage or casualties resulting from the nighttime aerial assault.
Regular drone incursions launched by Ukrainian forces against various parts of Russia, particularly targeting border zones alongside critical infrastructure and military installations, have evolved into a continuous and prominent feature of the ongoing armed conflict between the two nations.
