Taliban: Afghanistan is a safe country for investment

According to the regional office of Tasnim news agency, “Shir Mohammad Abbas Stanekzai, the deputy foreign minister of the Taliban government, in a meeting with Misako Takahashi, the deputy special representative of Japan for Afghanistan, said that Afghanistan has become a safe country for investment due to its abundance of mineral and natural resources compared to the past.
He added that all countries, including Japan, can invest in Afghanistan with full confidence. In this meeting, he said that his country is interested in investing in different parts of Afghanistan.
Before this, Japan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ishikan Kimihiro, said that the international community should encourage the Taliban to change their limitation policies through patient and pragmatic interaction.
