According to the international group Tasnim news agency, Hadi Al-Ameri, president Iraq’s “We Build” coalition said today Wednesday in response to the early morning US attacks on Al-Hashd al-Sha’abi bases in Iraq: We condemn the US aggression against the forces of Al-Hashd al-Shaabi in Al-Qaim and Jarf al-Nasr.
Al-Amari added: Once again We ask the Iraqi government to take immediate and decisive action to end the presence of all foreign troops in Iraq. We know for the safety and health of the Iraqi nation and the clear violation of the country’s sovereignty. This Wednesday morning, on the pretext that the Popular Mobilization Forces had attacked the American base in Ain al-Asad four days ago (January 20th), it targeted the bases of these forces.
In recent weeks, the United States has carried out similar attacks on the positions of the Al-Hashd forces. Al-Shaabi had carried out in Iraq, however, these attacks were not extensive compared to tonight’s attacks, and the United States once again violated the national sovereignty of the country by targeting the official forces of Iraq, while the Iraqi authorities took from the prime minister.
