In this meeting, which was held with the presence of Mehdi Safari, Iran’s representative in BRICS (Sherpa) and Kazem Jalali, Iran’s ambassador in Moscow, Lavrov criticized Western countries. The history of the last 500 years called the world a colonialism in which the opinion of the minority had priority over the majority.
He called BRICS a platform for change in the world order.
Lavrov called the dollar a weapon of the West to solve political issues in line with his views, and referring to the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, he stated He said that the West has turned reality upside down by dominating the media.
Mehdi Safari, the representative of our country in BRICS, also condemned the crimes of the occupying Quds regime in Gaza and emphasized that the world is witnessing the open genocide of the Zionist regime in Gaza.
He stressed on the quick delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza and the establishment of a ceasefire, and supported the initiative of South Africa in filing a complaint against the Zionist regime in international forums.
