He further said: “Hamas’ answer is cause for optimism, and now due to the sensitivity of the situation, we will not go into its details.”
On the other hand, the White House spokesman said on Tuesday that the United States was looking for a humanitarian ceasefire of more than a week so that it could bring back the soldiers and get more aid to Gaza.
Israeli, American, Egyptian and Qatari negotiators recently reached an agreement in Paris on a framework to stop the war and release other Israeli prisoners. A plan that the US foreign minister described as “strong and convincing” in a joint press conference with his Qatari counterpart in Washington. Pointing out that the negotiations regarding the Palestinian and Israeli prisoners have improved compared to the previous weeks, he said: “The current stage of the negotiations can lead to a permanent ceasefire in the future”.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office also called the negotiations “constructive”, but at the same time said that there are still “big gaps”.
