Aid ships are leaving for Gaza to break the blockade

According to Arabic21 base, Bulent Yıldırım, head of the Turkish Relief and Rescue Organization, announced that the ships will go to Gaza to break the blockade and deliver aid to the Palestinian nation.

He said at a ceremony in Istanbul with the presence of thousands of people: We have bought the ships and the way is open and we will set sail in the Mediterranean Sea and go to Gaza. We will not leave you alone.

Yildirim emphasized: The number of ships is not less than the fleet of “Marmara” ships that sailed to the waters of this region in the past years to break the blockade of the Gaza Strip. Our goal is to ship at the end of March.

Turkey’s aid and rescue organization recently held a conference with the participation of activists from 10 member countries of the International Freedom Fleet coalition in order to review plans to break the blockade of Gaza.

The head of the Turkish Relief and Rescue Organization said about this coalition: Our actions are aimed at supporting Palestine in Europe and America, our goal is to open all the gates to Gaza. Along with diplomacy, non-governmental organizations play their role. Ships will depart from America, Europe and Turkey.

After 135 days have passed since the beginning of the Zionist regime’s crimes against the Gaza Strip, the number of martyrs in this area has reached 28 thousand 858 and the number of wounded has reached 68 thousand 677 since the beginning of the occupation regime’s crimes on October 7 (15 Mehr). and while the mediators’ efforts to resolve this crisis continue, the occupying forces continue to commit crimes and have focused their attacks more on Rafah.

The city of Rafah houses more than one million and four hundred thousand Palestinian refugees, and Benjamin Netanyahu, the child-killing prime minister of the Zionist regime, has recently announced that he will carry out large-scale attacks on this city in the coming days. Attacks that take place with the complicity of US President Joe Biden.

The Zionist regime has besieged the Gaza Strip for years, and the only way to connect the Gaza Strip to the outside world is through the Rafah crossing, which has been irregularly and limitedly open to the people of Gaza. This crossing has also been closed since the start of the Israeli army’s attacks on the Gaza Strip, and only small amounts of aid enter the area through it.
