Haniyeh: Israel’s ground invasion has failed

Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas’s political bureau, said in a video speech from Beirut today that “Israel’s ground operations have failed” and instead “the Zionists are killing the people of Gaza with the weapon of hunger.”
He added: We warn the Israeli and American occupiers that what they did not achieve in the field will not be achieved through political conspiracies.

The head of the political office of Hamas also announced the group’s flexibility in negotiations with Israel and emphasized their readiness to persist in the war.

Earlier, the state media office of Hamas in this region announced that 76 people were martyred and 110 others were injured in the last 24 hours due to Israeli attacks. Also, since the beginning of the Zionist regime’s attacks on October 7, 2023, nearly 30,000 Palestinians, most of whom are children, have been martyred.

Earlier, the Deputy Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement said that there is a possibility of reaching an agreement on the Gaza Strip before the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan, but the Zionist regime is showing its stubbornness.

The Reuters news agency wrote on Tuesday, quoting informed sources: Hamas movement has received the draft of Israel’s proposal for the ceasefire talks that are to be held in Paris.

This media added that according to this draft, all military operations will be stopped for 40 days and for every one Zionist prisoner in Gaza, 10 Palestinian prisoners will be exchanged.

These sources said that according to the proposed ceasefire plan, hospitals and bakeries in Gaza will be repaired and 500 trucks carrying humanitarian aid will enter the Gaza Strip every day.
