The Minister of Defense of Italy said in an interview with the Italian newspaper La Stampa: NATO did not officially and voluntarily intervene in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia from the beginning.
Crosto emphasized that sending military forces to the war in Kiev is a step towards escalating tensions and destroys the process of diplomacy.
After a conference hosted by Paris on February 26 on Ukraine, Macron said that Western leaders had discussed the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine, and although No consensus has been reached in this regard, nothing can be rejected.
