American and British warplanes attack Hodeida, Yemen

On Monday evening, the Yemeni media announced three US and British attacks on targets in the Al-Jabana region in the west of Hodeidah, Yemen. The attacks come as the UK’s Maritime Trade Operations Organization announced on Monday that it had received a report of a security incident 71 nautical miles southwest of Al Salif in Yemen and authorities were investigating the cause of the incident. By publishing this news, Reuters wrote, quoting Embry Maritime Security Company: “We received information about the [firing] of a missile west of Hodeida, Yemen.”

In the early hours of January 21, following the resolution of the United Nations Security Council, the United States and the United Kingdom began attacking the positions of the Yemeni armed forces in order to break the naval blockade against the Zionist regime. It has led to the escalation of tension in the Red Sea.

A few days ago, the Minister of Defense of Yemen’s National Salvation Government, Major General Mohammad Nasser al-Atafi, warned the United States and England about new and “more painful” surprises in the naval battle and said that “the next stage is open to extensive developments and the Yemeni armed forces have many cards.” which they have not used yet”.
