Lebanon: We will file a complaint against Tel Aviv to the Security Council
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lebanon announced that it will file a complaint with the Security Council following the escalation of attacks by the Zionist regime on the country's soil. |
Lebanon’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it will file a complaint with the UN Security Council due to the attacks of the Zionist regime that have been carried deep into Lebanon’s territory in recent days. The ministry says the occupation army’s attacks have become increasingly “violent” and have killed or wounded innocent civilians in residential areas.
According to Al Jazeera, the ministry’s statement said: “What seems particularly worrisome is that the escalation of attacks is occurring in areas far from Lebanon’s southern borders. This shows Israel’s desire to increase the conflict and drag the war to the entire region.”
This statement requests the international community to put pressure on the Zionist regime to stop its attacks.
It should be said that the Zionist regime has increased its attacks on Lebanese soil in recent days. However, Zionist media confirmed that Lebanon’s Hezbollah has responded to these attacks with dozens of rockets since yesterday. The al-Mayadeen news agency described yesterday’s attacks by the Hezbollah movement on the Galilee and the Golan as the “heaviest attack” since the beginning of the war and said that only one of its stages included the launch of 30 rockets.
