Exchange of views between Iran and Russia on the development of economic cooperation

Iran's ambassador in Moscow, in a meeting with the economic adviser of the Russian president, exchanged views on the process of developing economic cooperation between the two countries, including the projects on the agenda.

According to the foreign policy group Tasnim news agency, ” Kazem Jalali, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Moscow, met and talked with Anton Kabyakov, the economic adviser to the president of the Russian Federation, on Monday, March 28.

In this meeting, the parties discussed the development of economic cooperation between the two countries, including the projects on the agenda, participation in the North-South Corridor and other issues on the agenda of the relations between the two countries.

At the beginning of this meeting, Jalali, while congratulating Putin on the occasion of his re-election as the President of Russia, called for the increasing development of trade and economic relations between the two countries through the participation of officials and private sector activists. The two countries met in upcoming events, including the Iran Expo exhibition and the St. Petersburg International Economic Conference and Exhibition in Russia. Participating in Iran’s business events, St. Petersburg economic conference, Far East economic conference and meeting of presidents of the BRICS countries in Kazan, the center of the Republic of Tatarstan, is considered a good opportunity for the development of mutual cooperation.

The parties emphasized the necessity of continuing comprehensive consultations and cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
