Hamas condemned the Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate

according to the report of the international group Tasnim News Agency, Hamas published a statement today, Monday, on the terrorist attack of the Zionist regime on the Iranian consulate in Damascus condemned it and considered it a gross violation of international law and an encroachment on the sovereignty of Iran and Syria.

Hamas, stating that this attack is a dangerous source of tension, with Iran and Syria Regarding this aggression, he expressed solidarity and said: We ask the Security Council to take action to create deterrence against Israel and its criminal leaders, so that their attacks on the Gaza Strip and the region stop.

On Monday evening, the Israeli fighter jets targeted the building of the Iranian Consulate in Al-Mazeh Street, Damascus.

Hossein Akbari, The Iranian ambassador in Damascus said: “This building was attacked by F-35 fighters and 6 missiles. I was at my workplace in the embassy. The Zionist regime has committed many crimes against diplomats.”

He added: “After all these crimes against the Palestinian nation in the past 6 months, this is still the case today. He committed a crime against Iran. A number of Iranian advisers were in the building and were martyred. This action will result in our decisive response.”
