Spain: Israel’s explanation about the attack on aid workers is unacceptable
The two Prime Ministers of Spain and Qatar held a joint press conference about the Gaza war. |
Pedro Sanchez, the Prime Minister of Spain, criticized the Zionist regime’s attack on international aid workers in a joint press conference with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, his Qatari counterpart.
According to Al Jazeera, Sanchez said: We want Israel to provide more details about this incident. Tel Aviv authorities’ explanations about this incident are insufficient and unacceptable.
The Prime Minister of Qatar also stated in this news conference: We are still mediating between the parties to reach an agreement in order to establish a ceasefire in Gaza. We appreciate the positions of the Spanish government towards Palestine. It is very interesting that the Spanish government has repeatedly announced its readiness to recognize the independent state of Palestine by July.
Referring to the worsening situation in Gaza, he added: No country except Israel supports the attack on the Rafah area. You can’t cram half the population of Gaza into 10% of the Strip and then attack it without genocide.
Qatar Prime Minister stressed: From my point of view, this issue is not acceptable. However, unfortunately, we see that the international community is not trying to stop this war. Qatar believes that due to the events that have happened, the international community should wake up and emphasize that the war is over.
