Egyptian legal experts and professors on the necessity of Egypt’s participation in the Zionist regime’s genocide lawsuit. In the Gaza strip proposed by South Africa, they emphasize and say that Cairo can present its legal notes and evidence of genocide by joining the South African special team.
Although the International Court of Justice during last Friday and Thursday held the hearing of the petition of the South African government and the response of the Israeli party as the defendant, but Egypt can join this petition until the closing of the chapter of presenting Israeli genocide evidence by the court. The court is going to send letters to member states to comment on Israel’s genocide. The mentioned countries have the right to answer and refuse it, and after that the doors will be closed for commenting on this case and the answers and evidence will be reviewed.
The head of the public law department of Cairo University, Rafat Foudeh, says that Egypt, if it wants to play a central role and support the Palestinian issue as the largest Arab country in the world, should respond to South Africa’s petition in The Hague against Israel joins the genocide in Gaza and because it is directly affected by the genocide in Gaza with the bombings of the Rafah crossing and the attempt to transfer Palestinians to the Sinai desert, it has serious motives for this.
