The court is going to send letters to member states to comment on Israel’s genocide. The mentioned countries have the right to answer and refuse it, and after that the doors will be closed for commenting on this case and the answers and evidence will be reviewed.
The head of the public law department of Cairo University, Rafat Foudeh, says that Egypt, if it wants to play a central role and support the Palestinian issue as the largest Arab country in the world, should respond to South Africa’s petition in The Hague against Israel joins the genocide in Gaza and because it is directly affected by the genocide in Gaza with the bombings of the Rafah crossing and the attempt to transfer Palestinians to the Sinai desert, it has serious motives for this.
