According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, the US State Department in a statement quoted by the spokesman of this ministry, Matthew Miller, condemned the rocket attacks of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on Monday evening. IRGC ballistic missiles simultaneously destroyed Mossad and ISIS terrorists in Erbil and Idlib in the evening operation. Miller, while announcing the US opposition to these attacks. claimed that Iran’s anti-terrorist attacks weaken the stability of Iraq.
The spokesperson of the US National Security Council said on Tuesday morning that they have received reports of missile attacks on northern Iraq and Syria and are investigating them. Adrienne Watson also said, “No American personnel or facilities were targeted in [Iran’s missile attacks] and we have been in contact with senior officials in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.”
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced in its three announcements about these operations that the IRGC’s missiles targeted the gathering places of the commanders and main elements related to the recent terrorist operations, especially ISIS in the occupied territories of Syria and destroyed the Zionist regime’s (Mossad) spy headquarters.
In this regard, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Nasser Kanani, stated that Iran always supports peace, stability and security in the region and adheres to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries. he noted: Iran will not hesitate to use its legitimate and legal right to deal deterrently with sources threatening national security, as well as defend the security of its citizens and punish criminals.
Kanaani called terrorism a global threat and said that Iran is determined in its determination to fight terrorism within the framework of joint regional and international cooperation. The senior Mossad, who were completely under the control of intelligence elites, were killed, and several senior ISIS commanders were also killed in a missile attack on terrorists in Idlib, Syria.
