Pakistan and Kuwait Sign Defense Cooperation Agreement
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Pakistan and Kuwait have signed a defense agreement to expand their military cooperation. The Ministry of Defense of Pakistan announced that the defense ministers of both countries inked a pact to broaden the framework of military collaboration between them.
The Ministry of Defense of Kuwait also confirmed the agreement, stating, “We have signed an agreement with Pakistan to strengthen joint defense and military cooperation.” This accord builds upon the existing defense cooperation framework established in 2023 and aims to bolster collaboration in areas such as training, enhancing military capabilities, border management, and other mutually agreed-upon defense sectors.
The agreement was signed today in Rawalpindi during a meeting between Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Pakistan’s Defense Minister, and a high-ranking Kuwaiti delegation led by Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Kuwait’s Defense Minister.
