Six female students died in a truck accident in Basra

At least 6 students died and 10 were injured in an accident involving a truck with the students of a girls’ school.

According to the official news agency of Iraq, the Iraqi Ministry of Health while announcing this news emphasized that this statistic is not final and that it uses all facilities to provide relief to the injured.

The Iraqi Ministry of Interior also announced that the truck driver was arrested.

According to the preliminary investigation, the truck driver was traveling at high speed near a girls’ school during its closing time when it hit the students.
