Amir Abdullahian left for Gambia

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of our country traveled to Gambia to participate in the summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
– International news – Hossein Amir Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of our country, at the head of a delegation, left Tehran for Banjul, the capital of this country, in order to participate in the 15th Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Gambia.

The summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which will be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 15 and 16, with the main theme of “promoting unity and solidarity through dialogue on sustainable development”, various issues and challenges of the Islamic world, especially the issue of Palestine and the current situation in Barikeh Gaza will be discussed and reviewed.

In this meeting, there are three documents in total, including the draft of the Palestinian resolution, the draft of the Banjul statement and the draft of the final document of the summit for approval. It will be presented to the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs and then to the Summit.

While attending this meeting, Amir Abdullahian will explain the positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the developments in the Islamic world, regional and international.

He will also meet and discuss with some officials of Islamic countries on the sidelines of this summit.
