Iran Issues Stern Warning to Israel Over Lebanon Operations
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Iran has established a red line for Israel in southern Lebanon and has cautioned the regime against escalating its military operations, according to a report by the Unews news site citing informed sources. Mehr News Agency published data on this matter.
Unews reported that Tehran has informed Tel Aviv that Iranian missiles would extensively target airports and military barracks in northern Israel. The objective behind this warning is to disperse Israeli forces stationed in southern Lebanon, thereby enabling the resistance in Lebanon to conduct retaliatory attacks and inflict heavy casualties on these forces.
The report indicated that the Israeli army is attempting to prevent Iran from intervening to support the resistance in Lebanon. Consequently, over the past three months, Israel has operated with less intensity, leveraging a ceasefire in Lebanon to conduct limited military operations aimed at gaining control of the Al-Tahir hill.
Unews further stated that Iran has declared in its warnings that it will not permit Washington to circumvent the first clause of the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon. This clause implicitly signifies the end of occupation and withdrawal from Lebanese territories. This stipulation will remain in effect even if the United States violates the agreement, and Iran remains steadfast in its support for the Lebanese people’s resistance.
The news outlet also reported that Iran has prepared a list of targets within occupied territories. These targets are designated to be struck in a future conflict to create deterrence against Israeli aggression towards Lebanon or Iran.
