Imam Khamenei visits Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi in hospital
Following the illness and hospitalization of Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi, a prominent Marja' [religious authority], Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khamenei, paid a visit to him at a hospital in Tehran.
During the visit, Imam Khamenei inquired about the progress of Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi’s treatment and prayed for his full recovery and health.
“In all these years, your life has been blessed and you have been beneficial in terms of your scientific knowledge, your guidance of people, and your wisdom. May God continue to bestow his blessings upon you,” he added.
On his part, Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi also expressed his gratitude for the Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s kindness and compassion.
