Nepal Floods Leave 16 Dead, Over 380 Tourists Missing

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Nepal‘s tourism organization has reported that more than 380 tourists, comprising 291 foreign citizens and 93 Nepali nationals, are missing following devastating floods and landslides across the country. These figures were released by Sputnik News Agency, citing information from the Nepal Tourism Board.

Early this morning, flash floods in the Bhote Kosi River in the Rasuwa district caused widespread damage and destruction. Local authorities have declared a state of readiness to manage the ongoing crisis.

Nepalese local media outlets have confirmed that 16 people have died and 36 others have been injured due to the intense flooding. Nepalese media have further indicated that the number of casualties and injured is expected to rise.
