report Mehr News Agency, citing Al-Nashrah, Jean Pirlacroix, head of UN peacekeeping operations, announced that despite the threats of the Zionist regime, Hafez forces are stationed in the south.
He emphasized: UN peacekeeping forces in southern Lebanon (UNIFIL) are stationed in their positions despite Israel’s request to move. These forces are the only link between the two armies.
Lacroix stated: Peacekeeping forces will do their best to fulfill the role assigned by the Security Council in the current very difficult situation. There is a wonderful plan to deal with the consequences.
He added that UNIFIL forces are still the link between Lebanon and the Zionist regime.
