Syrian Druze leader: It is still too early to talk about handing over weapons in Syria
report Mehr News Agency quoted by Sky News, Sheikh Hekmat al-Hajri, the spiritual leader of the Druze in Syria, announced this Wednesday that it is still too early to talk about the delivery of weapons in Syria.
He added: The delivery of weapons is rejected until the formation of the government and the drafting of a constitution that guarantees our rights.
Sheikh Hekmat al-Hajri stressed: It is still too early to talk about handing over weapons. Civil government should rule. We have concerns about the current situation if there is no public participation.
He added: Together with everyone, we adhere to a government that respects the people. We are looking for a stable government, not an interim government. We need international supervision. It should be prevented with any action that takes us back.
