Hamas’ Al-Qassam Brigades Ambush Israeli Forces in “Kasar Al-Saif” Operation, Seize Control of Two Israeli Drones
According to teh English section of the Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Quds Al-Akhbariya, the Al-Qassam Brigades—the military wing of Hamas—announced in a statement that its fighters carried out a complex ambush operation named “Breaking the Sword” (Kasr al-Sayf) east of Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza last night. The operation inflicted precise strikes on Zionist occupation forces.
The statement detailed that in the first phase, an armored “Storm” vehicle belonging to the Gaza Division’s Combat Intelligence Battalion was targeted with an anti-tank missile, causing confirmed injuries among its occupants.
Al-Qassam stated that when enemy reinforcements arrived to evacuate casualties, its fighters detonated a remote-controlled anti-personnel bomb, killing and wounding several occupying soldiers. The brigades also struck a newly established enemy military post with four RPG rounds before shelling it with mortar fire.
Meanwhile, Saraya al-Quds—the military wing of Islamic Jihad—reported successfully seizing control of two EVO Max reconnaissance drones conducting surveillance over Al-Shuja’iya in eastern Gaza City.
