Israel Violates Lebanon Ceasefire with Airstrikes in Nabatieh

Israeli fighter jets have targeted two areas in the Nabatieh district and the town of Qantara in southern Lebanon, marking a violation of the existing ceasefire agreement.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Mehr News Agency reports that Israeli warplanes have attacked two locations in Dūḥa Kafr Man in the Nabatieh district of southern Lebanon, according to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent.

The report further indicates that Israeli airstrikes have also targeted the town of Qantara in southern Lebanon.

Previously, Lebanon and the Israeli regime had reached a framework agreement to end the confrontations, facilitated by American mediation. This agreement was the result of several rounds of negotiations between the involved parties and Washington’s mediation, with the stated aim of establishing a ceasefire and de-escalating tensions along the borders of Lebanon and occupied Palestine.

Despite this agreement, which faced widespread criticism, violations of the ceasefire by the Israeli regime continue.
