Palestine Resistance Committees Honor Slain Spokesperson Abu Obeida on Anniversary

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, on the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Abu Obeida, the spokesperson for the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, the Palestine Resistance Committees have issued a statement acknowledging his role as a prominent voice for Palestine and the resistance during the conflict.

The statement emphasized that targeting Abu Obeida did not silence the messages and positions he represented, asserting that the Palestinian issue remains at the forefront despite efforts to marginalize it.

The Palestine Resistance Committees further described Abu Obeida’s legacy as more than a memorial, characterizing it as integral to the discourse of awareness, steadfastness, and resistance within Palestinian society.

Concluding the statement, which also commemorated other martyrs, the committees reiterated the commitment of Palestinians to achieving freedom, the right of return, and their national rights.
