Russia Captures Another Territory in Donetsk
According to the English section of “Webangah News Agency,” citing Mehr News Agency and RIA Novosti, the Russian Defense Ministry announced on Saturday that its forces had captured the town of “Novomikhailovka” in Donetsk, eastern Ukraine, as part of their continued advances.
The report stated that this operation was carried out by units from Russia’s Central Military District as part of Moscow’s ongoing special military operation in Ukraine.
The Russian Defense Ministry’s statement noted that the liberation occurred hours before Moscow declared a 30-hour ceasefire in observance of Easter.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry had also released a report detailing progress in its special military operation and key achievements by its armed forces.
