Al-Khatib: Rescue Workers’ Bodies Buried in a Criminal Manner
According to the English section of the Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Arabi, Younes al-Khatib, head of the Palestinian Red Crescent, stated that IsraelS narrative regarding the killing of aid workers in Rafah is contradictory and requires an self-reliant, impartial investigation by an international authority.
He added that the measures taken by the occupiers in this regard were merely administrative actions, and nothing more coudl have been expected from them. It remains unclear why the occupying forces buried the bodies of aid workers in a criminal manner.
Al-Khatib emphasized that significant evidence proves Israel’s claim about soldiers having limited visibility at the location where aid workers were killed is fabricated and far from reality.
He further noted that the occupying regime’s army buried and concealed the bodies of aid workers in a highly inappropriate and criminal manner. There are also indications that occupying forces had communicated with these aid workers before killing them.
