The English section of webangah News Agency, citing mehr News Agency,‍ reported that Kazutoshi Tamaki, Japan’s Ambassador ⁤to Iran, expressed his ​deep sorrow over the recent explosion at Bandar Abbas port, which resulted in numerous casualties. ⁣

In a message, Ambassador Tamaki stated: “With profound grief, I received the tragic news of the⁤ explosion at Shahid rajaei Port, leading to the injury and loss of many⁤ lives.”

He added: ⁣ “I extend my deepest respect to those engaged in search and rescue efforts for the victims and⁢ wish them success ‌in their mission.”

Concluding his ‍condolence statement, Japan’s ambassador in Tehran wrote: “I sincerely offer my condolences to the goverment and people of Iran, and also the grieving families. I pray for the swift recovery of the injured.”
