The English section of webangah News Agency, citing mehr News Agency, reported that Kazutoshi Tamaki, Japan’s Ambassador to Iran, expressed his deep sorrow over the recent explosion at Bandar Abbas port, which resulted in numerous casualties.
In a message, Ambassador Tamaki stated: “With profound grief, I received the tragic news of the explosion at Shahid rajaei Port, leading to the injury and loss of many lives.”
He added: “I extend my deepest respect to those engaged in search and rescue efforts for the victims and wish them success in their mission.”
Concluding his condolence statement, Japan’s ambassador in Tehran wrote: “I sincerely offer my condolences to the goverment and people of Iran, and also the grieving families. I pray for the swift recovery of the injured.”
