Vitekoff warning about Russia Ukraine negotiations Putin approval is mandatory

According to teh English section of the ‍”webangah News‍ Agency,” citing Mehr News agency and ⁢Sputnik, Steve witkoff, the special envoy of​ U.S. President Donald Trump in West Asia,‌ emphasized that‍ no peace agreement regarding the Ukraine war would be possible without‍ the ⁣approval⁤ of⁤ Russian president Vladimir Putin.

Witkoff, in an interview with Breitbart News, stated: “I have spoken ⁤with Putin. Without Putin’s‌ approval, there ⁣will ‍be no agreement.”

He added that regarding‍ resolving the Ukraine war, he has consulted not only with Moscow and Kyiv but also with national​ security advisors from Britain, ‍France, Germany, and Italy.

Before russia’s proposal for direct negotiations with Ukraine, Witkoff ⁤had said in an interview: “The President (Trump) has given both‍ sides a deadline—if direct talks ⁤do not take​ place ​promptly—then he believes America should step back from this war. It doesn’t matter what⁢ this action means; it simply means no ⁢further intervention.” ‍

Regarding Russia-ukraine ‍negotiations, the special envoy​ noted that key issues include matters related to Russian-controlled territories,‌ the Zaporizhzhia​ Nuclear Power ⁣Plant, Kyiv’s use of​ the Dnieper River, and its access to the Black Sea.
