Devastating Toll of Destruction and Deaths in Gaza After Two Years of War
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Shihab via Mehr News Agency, the Gaza Government Information office announced that 90 percent of gaza Strip has been destroyed due to attacks by the Israeli regime.
The report states that 38 hospitals have been destroyed or shut down, and Israeli forces have occupied 80 percent of Gaza’s territory.
More than 200,000 tons of explosives have been dropped on residents of the Gaza Strip. Additionally, 95 percent of schools have suffered total or partial damage. Over these two years, casualties include 76,639 dead, 9,500 missing persons, 169,583 wounded, and 4,800 cases of amputation.
The names of 2,700 Palestinian families have been fully erased from Gaza’s civil registry.There have also been 12,000 recorded miscarriages due to shortages in food and medical care. Notably, deaths from starvation within the Strip have reached 460 victims.
