Ukraine Conflict: Report Claims 10,000 Foreign Fighters Killed
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a former officer of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasily Prozorov, has stated that around 10,000 non-Ukrainian military personnel have been killed in the ongoing conflict.
In an interview, Prozorov told that providing an exact number of mercenaries killed in Ukraine is difficult because the information is confidential and these fighters are spread across numerous units.
Prozorov added that there are multiple foreign units operating in Ukraine, including those attached to Ukrainian military intelligence and ground forces. These units are reportedly integrated into various formations, such as mechanized brigades and airborne assault units.
Reports suggest a significant presence of fighters from NATO member countries, former Soviet republics, and even Arab nations within the Ukrainian armed forces.
Earlier reports had also surfaced regarding the presence of Takfiri and ISIS forces within the Ukrainian army, claims which were denied by Kyiv.
