Trump and Netanyahu Agree on Second Phase of Gaza Ceasefire Amid Policy Shifts in West Bank

U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have agreed to advance the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire, while U.S. officials push for policy changes in the West Bank to prevent escalating violence.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump and his advisors have urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to implement policy changes in the West Bank during their meeting in Florida. The U.S. government believes that escalating violence in the region could undermine efforts to enforce the Gaza peace agreement.

The American news outlet Axios, citing informed sources, reported that Netanyahu has agreed to proceed with the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire despite disagreements with Trump’s team over implementation mechanisms.

Additionally, Axios revealed that Netanyahu has accepted Trump’s request to resume negotiations with the Syrian government regarding a potential security agreement.
