Iraqi Official Credits Martyr Soleimani and Victory Commanders for Israel’s Global Isolation

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Islamic Republic of Iran’s embassy in Baghdad hosted a ceremony on Wednesday marking the sixth anniversary of the martyrdom of the Victory Commanders. Falih al-Fayyadh, head of Iraq‘s Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), delivered a speech emphasizing the global significance of honoring these commanders, who he described as defenders of human rights and humanity.
Al-Fayyadh stated that the fatwa for jihad issued by religious authorities and the leadership of field commanders laid the foundation for the stability Iraq enjoys today. He highlighted the PMF’s commitment to documenting the lives of their leaders and learning from past battles, ensuring their principles endure in times of hardship and prosperity.
The PMF leader noted that the Victory Commanders left behind a moral and national legacy transcending time and place. He credited Martyr Qasem Soleimani as a pivotal figure in Iraq’s victory and thanked Iran for its steadfast support against terrorism. Al-Fayyadh attributed Israel’s current global isolation to the sacrifices of martyrs like Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, whose efforts reshaped history.
