Erdogan’s Visit to UAE Postponed Following Announcement of UAE President’s Illness

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Turkey has formally announced the postponement of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan‘s planned visit to Abu Dhabi. The decision followed official notification regarding the temporary indisposition of the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During a direct telephone discussion between the two heads of state, President Erdogan affirmed his strong desire to undertake the journey at a future, mutually agreeable date. The previously finalized itinerary now requires a complete rescheduling of the high-level engagement between Ankara and Abu Dhabi.
This development comes after President Erdogan had declared last Wednesday his intention to conduct diplomatic trips to both the United Arab Emirates and Ethiopia during the upcoming Monday and Tuesday. These foreign excursions were framed as integral components of Turkey’s broader regional diplomacy strategy.
For context, President Erdogan had recently completed a series of visits to the Gulf region, traveling to Qatar, Kuwait, and Oman between October 21st and 23rd of this year.
