French Soldier Fatally Shot in Paris Barracks During Alcohol-Fueled Incident

A French soldier, Alexandre Lanckbeen, has died in a barracks near Paris after being accidentally shot in the head during an overnight gathering involving alcohol consumption by fellow soldiers.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, French officials have confirmed the death of soldier Alexandre Lanckbeen, who was killed in a military barracks located on the outskirts of Paris. The incident occurred when a stray bullet struck him in the head during an unauthorized drinking session.
The Paris public prosecutor’s office stated that several soldiers present at the barracks were consuming alcoholic beverages throughout the night, despite official prohibitions. Investigations into the circumstances of the shooting are underway.
In connection with the incident, four other soldiers have been detained to assist with the ongoing investigation into how the fatal shooting occurred.
