Israeli Military Activity in Southern Syria Raises Damascus Concerns

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Syrian sources have reported new movements by the Israeli regime in the southern part of Syria, escalating concerns over heightened tensions in the region. Israeli occupation forces entered a village in the southern countryside of Quneitra with several military vehicles. This military action in an area long characterized by tension has drawn significant attention.
Al Jazeera reported that Israeli soldiers entered the village of Saida Al-Hanout in the southern Quneitra countryside with three military vehicles. Further details regarding the objective of this operation have not yet been released.
Since the fall of the former Syrian regime, the Israeli regime has launched extensive attacks on the country, citing various pretexts such as support for specific groups. An example of this was the bombing of areas in Damascus under the guise of supporting Druze communities.
Since the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime, the Syrian army has crossed the buffer zone between the occupied Golan region and Syria, continuing the occupation of areas near the Golan in the Daraa and Quneitra governorates. This military presence poses a challenge to regional stability.
