Hezbollah Secretary-General Congratulates Supreme Leader on Election
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hezbollah Secretary-General has sent a congratulatory message to Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei on his election as the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution. The message was published by Al-Manar. In his message, the Secretary-General expressed his delight and honor upon receiving the news of Ayatollah Khamenei’s well-deserved election by the Assembly of Experts as the Supreme Leader and a worthy successor to uphold the path of Imam Khomeini.
The message stated that Ayatollah Khamenei dedicated his life and the blood of devoted martyrs to preserving this path, safeguarding Iran’s independence, and its authentic Muhammadan identity. It highlighted his reliance on divine providence, the support of the proud, religious, courageous, and brave Iranian nation, and his confidence in achieving progress, enhancing capabilities, and manifesting the just political model of Islam in addressing crises. He is also described as acting boldly against oppression, aggression, oppressors, and aggressors, neutralizing their conspiracies, and shattering the objectives of their criminal wars.
The message further expressed hope that under Ayatollah Khamenei’s promising leadership, the authentic, revolutionary, Islamic, and Muhammadan path will continue to guide nations eager for justice and the oppressed worldwide toward righteousness, independence, and the realization of justice.
Sheikh Naim Qassem noted that Hezbollah of Lebanon, while thankful to God for His abundant blessings in achieving political, moral, and revolutionary resistance progress inspired by the blessed Islamic Revolution of Iran and its liberating and independence-seeking path, guided by Sayyed Abbas al-Mousavi, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, has taken firm and effective steps in strengthening the resistance approach against occupation, aggression, and oppression. He congratulated Ayatollah Khamenei on his well-deserved election.
The Secretary-General of Hezbollah’s message emphasized that Hezbollah remains steadfast in its covenant with Ayatollah Khamenei, just as it pledged allegiance to the late Leader and Martyr Imam Khamenei and the Founder Imam Khomeini. This commitment is in support of religion, truth, humanity, and paving the way for the advent of justice through the blessings of Imam Mahdi.
He concluded his message by reaffirming their renewed pledge on behalf of himself, his brothers in the Hezbollah Council, and the commanders and mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon. He prayed to God for His guidance to Ayatollah Khamenei in fulfilling the aspirations of his nation and the oppressed nations in removing the harm of the arrogant and oppressors from them and their lands.
