Macron Urges Immediate Halt to Middle East Energy Infrastructure Attacks

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, French President Emmanuel Macron took to social media platform X early Thursday to announce discussions with Qatar’s Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and U.S. President Donald Trump regarding recent attacks on energy infrastructure in the Middle East.
Macron emphasized that an immediate halt to attacks that target civilian infrastructure, specifically energy and water facilities, is in everyone’s interest. He stated that civilian populations and their essential needs, along with energy supply security, must be protected from military tensions.
The remarks follow a coordinated missile attack by the Israeli regime, in conjunction with the United States, against vital Iranian energy facilities on Wednesday. Reports indicate these actions resulted in damage to the South Pars gas field refineries in the Asaluyeh, located in the southern part of the country.
