UN Condemns Attacks on Iran’s Gas Facilities, Stresses Civilian Immunity

The United Nations has reiterated its stance against attacks on civilian infrastructure, condemning actions targeting Iran’s gas facilities and emphasizing that all non-military sites must be considered immune from conflict.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the United Nations has voiced strong opposition to the aggression against Iran’s gas installations, with the Deputy Spokesperson for the Secretary-General, Farhan Haq, stating that the organization has repeatedly stressed that civilian locations must not be targeted.
Haq further elaborated that all parties involved should treat civilian infrastructure as protected sites, and the UN unequivocally opposes such attacks. While refraining from explicitly naming the aggressor, Haq condemned these actions “from all parties.” He also underscored that military solutions do not resolve the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East.
