Serbia’s President Vučić: World War III May Have Already Begun

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated that preventing World War III will be challenging, suggesting that the conflict may have already initiated but has not yet been officially acknowledged. He pointed to ongoing resource competition as a precursor to global conflict.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has expressed serious concerns regarding the possibility of a third world war, suggesting that such a conflict may have already begun but has not yet been formally declared. He indicated that the struggle for vital resources, including oil, gas, minerals, and rare earth metals, has been underway for a significant period.

In an interview with the German newspaper Berliner Zeitung, Vučić elaborated on his perspective, noting that preventing World War III would be difficult, as it might have already commenced. “We just aren’t officially talking about it yet,” he stated, implying a hidden, undeclared global confrontation.

The Serbian leader drew parallels with the origins of the First and Second World Wars, observing that both initially emerged as regional conflicts. These localized disputes eventually escalated due to the formation of major military and political alliances, which subsequently engaged in direct confrontation. Vučić’s remarks highlight a growing apprehension among international leaders about the potential for escalating geopolitical tensions to spiral into a global conflict, driven by competition for essential natural resources.
