Cuban Foreign Minister Hopes Nowruz Becomes Symbol of Peace Amidst Global Conflicts

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Bruno Rodríguez, the Foreign Minister of Cuba, has congratulated the arrival of the Persian New Year and expressed hope that this occasion will be a symbol of peace and hope in the face of wars. The Cuban Foreign Minister wrote in a message on the social network X: “We join the people of Iran and over 300 million others who celebrate the arrival of the Persian New Year, Nowruz. He expressed hope that this day, more than ever, will be a testament to peace and hope, in the face of all wars and barbarism.” The people of Iran welcomed the year 1405 (2026) amid the ongoing aggressive American-Zionist war against the country, which has now surpassed 20 days. The Secretary-General of the United Nations also issued a message on the occasion of Nowruz, emphasizing the necessity of dialogue, solidarity, and building a peaceful world in the current tense circumstances.
